Lifting the lid on toilet training: Staying dry through the night

by Lauren Amies and Brogan Georgiou

How do I toilet train my child at night and prepare for bed wetting?

Laura and Brogan explain how it's not like teaching your child to go to the toilet - staying dry at night is something that happens naturally with age for your kids.

Every child learns how to stay dry during the night in their own time and wetting the bed can be perfectly natural. It's all down to when a type of hormone (diuretic) that starts to be produced when they get older. This happens at different times for everyone, so don't feel the pressure to hit certain milestones.

If your child has been dry for a couple of weeks in a row, it's safe to say that the hormone has started to kick in.
